Officially, China only has 1 time zone, often referred to as Beijing time. However, the government of the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region (Xinjiang for short) along with local governments such as the Urumqi city government often use Urumqi Time which is GMT +6.

In Xinjiang, airplane tickets, train tickets, etc are written in Beijing Time while general appointments, etc are in Urumqi Time. The government of Xinjiang along with the city governments often use both times in publications.

Although not an official time zone, Time Genie uses Urumqi time for Xinjiang to reflect the common time used by many of the people.

It's also worth noting that most of the ethnic Chinese, also known as ethnic Han, living in Xinjiang only use Beijing Time even though the native Uyghurs use Urumqi time. So ultimately, depending on who you talk to, 2 different times may be given for Xinjiang.
