• St. John's — Time zone offset is either -3:30 or -2:30

Reading The Universal Time Zone Converter Charts:

To save space, the universal time zone converter charts use the 24 hour clock and some coding.

How To Read The Chart:

SD	The day — SD = Same Day; +1 = Next Day; +2 = 2 Days Ahead; -1 = Previous Day; -2 = 2 Days Behind
12	The hour — Uses the 24 hour clock. 00 = Midnight; 12 = Noon
00	The minutes

Reading The Day:

Time Genie's universal time zone converter charts are designed to work for any day of the week.

If you want to convert a time zone for Wednesday and you see a -1 in the code, it means the other location will be on Tuesday while +1 means the other location will be on Thursday. SD means it is also Wednesday in the other location. In rare situations, you might see +2 or -2 which means that when it is Wednesday, it is Friday and Monday respectively. The +2 and -2 only affect 2 hours of the days and under the right conditions. Sample Chart 2 illustrates this rare event.

Active Time Zones:

Some time zones are only used by certain locations. Newfoundland and Iran are two examples, both of which also observe daylight saving time too. Realizing this, the universal time zone converter charts will only show the currently active time zone.

In addition, some minor time zones are not included in the universal time zone converter charts to save additional space.

Universal Time Converter Chart — Sample 1:

In this example, this chart is converting the +2:00 time zone to all other time zones.

When it is 1:00 (1 AM) in the +2:00 time zone, it is 13:30 (1:30 PM) in the -9:30 time zone on the -1 (previous day).

When it is 1:00 (1 AM) in the +2:00 time zone, it is 15:00 (3:00 PM) in the -8:00 time zone on the -1 (previous day).

When it is 22:00 (10 PM) in the +2:00 time zone, it is 10:30 (10:30 AM) in the -9:30 time zone on the SD (same day).

When it is 22:00 (10 PM) in the +2:00 time zone, it is 12:00 (12:00 Noon) in the -8:00 time zone on the SD (same day).

Universal Time Converter Chart — Sample 2:

This chart converts 23:00 (11 PM) for every time zone.

When it is 23:00 in the -3 time zone, it is the SD (same day) but 16:30 (4:30 PM) in the -9:30 time zone.

When it is 23:00 in the -3:00 time zone, it is the SD (same day) at 18:00 (6 PM) in the -8:00 time zone.

When it is 23:00 in the 5:45 time zone, it is the SD (same day) at 7:45 (7:45 AM) in the -9:30 time zone.

When it is 23:00 in the 5:45 time zone, it is the SD (same day) at 9:15 (9:15 AM) in the -8:00 time zone.
